Nel Laboratorio di Modellazione CAD ci è stato richiesto di scegliere un oggetto abbastanza complesso da smontare e successivamente effettuare un rilievo delle sue componenti. Dopodiché abbiamo dovuto realizzare un modello 3D dello stesso, con l’utilizzo del software Inventor.
L’oggetto scelto era un contatore del gas. È stato molto complesso da modellare per due motivi principali: per prima cosa l’elevato numero di componenti e poi gli incastri tra i vari pezzi che hanno creato alcune difficoltà nell’assemblaggio del modello.

In the CAD Modeling Laboratory we had to choose a complex object. Then we proceeded to disassemble it and take measurements of all the parts. In the end we had to 3D modeling it using the software Inventor.
The chosen object was a gas meter. It was quite challenging to modeling it, basically for two reason: first for the great amount of pieces and secondly for the joints between the pieces which has created some difficulties in the assembly part.
